Ian first discovered Pilates in 2009, as he was seeking a form of exercise to help alleviate an ongoing back injury due to a sporting mishap. It wasn’t long before the benefits of Pilates helped improve his back as well strengthen his core.
After regularly participating in Pilates for many years, he decided to leave the corporate world to pursue his passion for Pilates by completing the Certificate IV in matwork instruction at Pilates International Training Centre.
His hobbies include running along the beach, swimming and catching up with friends.
Ian teaches matwork classes at all levels for a wide range of clients.
